Life Coach & Advocate

who i am

I am passionate about helping people reach their goals. For over thirty years, my goal has been to help children, adolescents, adults, and families to overcome stress, anxiety, depression and other obstacles to find joy and success in their own lives. Why? Because working with families and individuals to achieve their life goals is my goal in life! I find great satisfaction in supporting my clients through their tough times, in helping them think through issues, and in resolving emotional and behavioral problems. Advocating for students with special needs is also a passion - helping families negotiate the special education process is a pleasure when school policies are confusing and parents feel lost.

What I Do

Life Coaching

Life Coaching helps individuals develop goals to reach success in their lives. First, we identify what’s holding you back - anxiety, depression, executive function issues, social anxiety, abuse, or trauma. Then we can develop plans, strategies, and skills to address those issues and move you forward.

Social Thinking© groups

Social skills groups, based on the curriculum developed by Michelle Garcia Winner, will address core social skills at developmentally appropriate levels for preschoolers, elementary age, and middle school age students on the autism spectrum, with ADHD, and Nonverbal Learning Disability.

Navigating special education services can be confusing. I work with families to review a student’s needs, evaluations, and current IEP or 504 plans. I help develop new plans, and represent your family in negotiating and collaborating with schools. I work with learning disabilities, ADHD, Autism Spectrum Disorders, Nonverbal Learning Disability, and Intellectual Disabilities. Lastly, I specialize in working with Twice Exceptional students, those who carry a disability diagnosis and are also identified as gifted.
